It's old school shit and at the time, it was pretty fucking barren.
During that time the writers strike was in full force and tv shit was reality tv shows (though we got Survivor or Lost out of it, not sure it was great.)

I felt that reconstruction was a perfect end to the series. Monty Oum may have been talented or whatever (I honestly don't know), but having him do rvb cheapened it a bit. I feel bad because the guy is dead but I felt after reconstruction the show took a big hit.
