Why? If the game had just ended right there, you would have complained that the ending was mean-spirited and had no real consequences for your actions.

how come i played metro 2033 and it was way better than bioshock in basically every way

Fontaine is a fun boss though

I think 2 is a slightly better game, but was disappointed with the final act of that game more than this one

Story was nowhere near as good.
Guns were nowhere near as good.
Linear as fuck.
No cool powers like plasmids, although that wouldn't have made sense in Metro.
