It's too fucking easy and if you somehow still manage to die 3 times in a row it'll give you invincibility!

I mean, it felt more like a 2.5D game than a 3D game, but I actually liked that. Like a 2D Mario with a foreground and background deal going on. Over all I really liked it, though I'm still upset it didn't have online play. I used to chill with my friends from school for years playing Mario games and ever since I've moved away I've missed it. Unfortunately none of them seem interested in fucking around with Dolphin though.
Anyway, I don't know why it's hated on as much as it is. It's not my favorite 3D Mario but I rather like it. Cat Suit was pretty fun for a while though I'm not crazy about it. The Double Cherry was really cool though, hope to see that again.

It was a collage of other Mario games. You've probably seen everything the game had to show before.
If you haven't played any other Mario games before it would probably be pretty cool.

It's a great game that adds some new power ups and moves to Mario and Friends.

I'm not sure. I'm not really into open 3D platformers, for some reason they're not as fun for me, the Galaxy games were fine. But 3D World is the only 3D Mario that I bothered to 100% it.

3D World was fun for a single play through. It's got nice challenges and the Captain Toad levels were comfy.

The end game levels were a nice bonus as well and up there in terms of some of the hardest Mario levels of all time. I wouldn't play this game more than once though, it's just something you'd whip out for comfiness factor or to play with friends after you beat it. The soundtrack was pretty good at least.
