My autism makes me go for 100%, or at least get to as close to it as possible. Otherwise, I don't feel like I got the most out of my games.
there is only one reason why I would 100% a game, and that's when I really really enjoyed it
other than that I try to get through all content at least once in games I mostly liked (except for fetch-quests, collectibles and so on) and I'm usually satisfied with that

Not on lootbox/gacha/slot machine games.
I`m talking about Hearthstone, shadowverse, japanese smartphone games and so on...
You can buy many Desktop, Scorpio, PS4pro and Switch with the money you pay to complete this shit.
I'm burnt out from vidya though, so it'll stay like that.

Only on games I know I can do
DK64
Battlefield 1
Fable 2
Fable 3
Current doing Xenoverse 2
There are very few games that I have ever gotten 100% in. In fact, FF13 is probably the only one (unless things like Twisted Metal count).

Depends. I'm more of a min-maxer than a completionist.
I have the opposite of autism. The idea of 100%ing a game is horrible to me.
>deliberately ignores the main quest to do fetch quests instead
>rewards myself with an actual mission for finding x number of collectibles
>searches obsessively, picks up everything, weapon hoarder
i have autism :-(

In dark souls i always have to complet the chosen undead, ashen one or bearer of the curse's wardrobe
That includes killing every npc before ng+

I play a game once then most likely will never touch it again.
I like to get the full value out of my games, especially the ones I really enjoy. I like achievements like the one in Half-Life 2 to toss Dog's ball into the basketball hoop. Little optional challenges to spend a few seconds or minutes on, just to see if you can do it. "Smack a button a thousand a times" achievements are boring, padding garbage. Fuck 'em.
Same OP. Can't feel satisfied with finishing a game unless I 100% complete everything with it.

I used to be, then burned out after earning 40+ platinums and 15+ 100% (in games that didn't have platinums) in about a year. Never looked back.

It's not really autism
Some games like borderlands give you rewards on side missions that's only good the level you completed them
Being a high level completing a low level side quest is fucking useless
