EA, Sony, and Microsoft never have anything worthwhile to show, Nintendo focuses on Nintendo platforms (which is fine since I don't expect them to announce anything for PC), Bethesda generally has one game worth showing but they show it poorly, and Ubisoft shows off intereting stuff but the finished results are always fucked.

The game industry should fuck off.

Because the amount of people who would see it and buy it far exceeds the amount of people on origin in turn they'd make a fuck ton more money?

Even Ubisoft understands this. They don't like steam so they created Uplay but they know if they don't put their games on steam they make less money.

EA is a much richer company so they prob can afford to do this more than others but they're store losing out.

If their games are only on Origin, then that forces people to look for EA games on Origin, thus building Origin as a platform.

Complaining about EA games only being available on Origin is like complaining that you can only buy Half-Life on Steam.

I don't see how that's relevant since Steambabbies look at the Steam store page, see "requires UPlay" and choose to not buy the games anyway.

The vast majority of games they showcased were either years away or a disappointment. They won on generating hype, and little else.
