The first PSP was a mild success at best. The vita was a complete fucking disaster even when the hardware was vastly superior to the 3DS. They didn't even have to do anything in response when the Vita came out. Now they would have to build something that pushes the limits of what a handheld is capable of to even be equal to Switch, and beat an established leader in the market with a history of nothing but failure in that market.

Releasing a PSP3 right now would be retarded. As long as the Switch keeps up this momentum and remains relevant there will never be a competing portable hardware.

I actually bought the 3DS when it was still fairly new. I played the shit out of Ocarina of Time, and the '3D' effect was pretty damn impressive to 16 year-old me. Fast forward five years and I don't even bother to use the depth slider anymore. Shit strains my eyes nowadays. The last game I think was most impressive with 3D on was Super Mario 3D Land.

I remember some people were upset that it was announce for the ps3 because they lost shit posting fuel. There was even a fag that was really angry that it wasn't a wii u exclusive because he believed Atlus belonged to Nintendo due to the 3ds games and he wanted to get revenge on those mean sunnyggers who made fun of the wii u. I wished I screen capped that thread but now its gone since those archive are long dead. All we have left is that one famous screen cap.

Can't wait until it all is repeated in August when the concert happens.

A persona concert, past concerts had announcements and trailers. There isn't really a guarantee that they'll announce anything but some domain names such as PQ2, P5D, P3D, P5AG were found so there is a small chance. Either way, there sure will be threads about how persona is being ported to x.
