What are the best games for experiencing ancient Japan?

Ishin and Kenzan aren't region locked but they're Japanese only and Kenzan for sure isn't getting localized since PS3 is done for the most part. Ishin probably won't either but wait until E3 since who knows if they'll announce a localization after Nioh.

Kenzan's great though, lots to explore, heavily ancient Japan, and Gion is awesome, especially at night. Picture related.

Pre paelothic or perhaps Jomon or Yoyogi period at the very latest. Really fucking boring desu. Japanese history doesn't start getting interesting until Heian IMO.
