I'm replaying it again after almost two years of not touching New Leaf and this is kind of tedious. Even if I'm focusing on developing the town and my house, there's little else to do with the villagers, that seem like movable props that you bump while collecting shit to sell.

Also, more interactions with Isabelle. Give her something else to do besides waiting for you at the office.

I enjoyed New Leaf but I felt like by now there should be more to do, it didn't feel like it had progressed enough from the original AC, it's alot like pokemon in that they seem afraid to shake shit up.

What I want:
Animal Crossing for Switch and Animal Crossing mobile connectivity. Your Village is on your switch, your mobile app is when you're "out of town".
You can still do small tasks like shopping, decorating your furniture, "streetpass" with strangers in some way, maybe include some games to earn bells (maybe gps-based).
When you come home, your progress will get transferred to Animal Crossing switch. Your villagers will welcome you back and ask, how your day was.
