Did anyone actually find this kid on their first playthrough?

How do you miss something that the game talks about and is necessary for a quest?

Sort of. I completly missed the ingame text mentioning him. As a result, I missed maxing him out, but he's pretty useful

Im sure as hell maxing him out in NG+

I found him before the quest and he stood out so clearly from the regular NPCs it was obvious he was a Confidant, and then later you get a quest to go talk to a gamer.

I don't get how you could miss him.

I found him because I was doing all the quests I could. Tora was the only guy I missed.

I found Tora but he seemed to immediately disappear after I started him.

His social link gives you a few great tricks to use with your guns. I like the one that lets you use 8 bullets for a guaranteed all-out attack/talk.

Dont you have to do this kids r1 social link to finish mishima? Or am I misremembering that one.
