Not gonna lie, former Eggman supporter here. This is fucking hilarious watching him crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this guy get the ARK codes.

You know something, for all intents and purposes, Eggman won in SA2. He had successfully taken over an orbital death ray, blown up the moon, and would've killed Sonic had dues ex machina not gotten in the way (chaos control with a fake emerald, really Sega). I mean Tails was about to kill him but he could've overcame.

I mean I guess in the end he would've lost when the Ark came crashing out the sky, but if Shadow the Hedgehog is anything to go by, Shadow could've probably handled that situation alone.

Eggman thought he won by gathering all 7 emeralds for the cannon, but if you recall Sonic destroyed the cannon's tip (barrel or whatever). Plus after getting the 7th emerald it would never have fired anyway because of Gerald's Biolizard and crashing into Earth programming.
