SEGA kept churning out the same shitty Sonic game and kept adding peripherals to their original console. I had a buddy that bought them all back in the day. I think he said it cost him over $1000 in the end. And that was back in the 80's/early 90's

Holy fuck these games were the absolute shit when I was a kid. All those fucked up enemies, all those terrifying levels, jesus christ. No idea how I didn't get nightmares from these games. Gave me a love of exploration too. Wanted to become a marine biologist god damnit.
