Some games it absorbs all phys attacks for one turn. Also if you attack and it's absorbed, your party loses a turn, so even chumping with a shitter would cost you.

Ebony Tear is relatively easy to get(Antile X is the hardest thing, it needs drops from White Rider and Samael which are piss easy) and comes with Moan Bullet, an almighty multihit skill that might end any encounter in the game, outside of the newgame+ area in Grus. Reaper Colt before that, it's single target but it does great damage, has three different types of damage and comes with Rock Bullet. Did you know that all enemies but Fiends found through Enemy Search are susceptible to Petrification? kek

You can get tons of EXP from that building by going there at low levels and abusing the fuck out of status ailments. All the enemies can one hit you but it doesn't matter because they never get a turn.
Also, law hero learns a spell that guarantees escape from battle fairly early on, in case anything goes wrong. And people casting spells in this game seem to usually act earlier than others.

And for what its worth you need to go back and get demons of different types.


Because Megami Tensei doesn't have the variety of later games it means your party can bottleneck around only a few viable fusions unless you grab some demons to fuse from past areas.

Same here. Got to Hawaii and then just craved the new mainline SMT game coming out instead. I tend to enjoy mainline more than Persona becausse the combat is fast, brutal and gratifying. It felt too tedious I guess is P5?
Like it was good combat, it just took too long to go from battle to battle unlike most mainline where it was encounter, fight, quick results and back to the action.
