>>377707217
Is that a joke? Xbox by far of all 3 gen 6 consoles.
xbox was built later and sold at a loss

Microsoft's profit margin for Xbox units sold was not OP's question though.

NOT OP's line of question, for real what the fuck is even the point of this thread??

End yourselves retards.
Xbox, proving that the most powerful system doesn't translate to the most successful. Something they should take note of before launching their $999 console variant into the market.

It's a mix of a bunch of things.

That and how Xbox has never come 1st place in it's ENTIRE existence. It has always got either the silver or bronze medal.
Xbox was more powerful and hardcore, gamecube was more fun, had more notable games and were sturdier

Xbox has two vector units.

Xbox's vertex and pixel shaders are programmable.
GameCube's are fixed function.

>sturdier
srsly? you could kill a man with an xbox.
>>377708772
Xbox had hardware issues, harder to find a working xbox then to find a working gc is what i mean
>>377708761
*meant to write 233 MHz for Xbox.

>Xbox's vertex and pixel shaders are programmable.
>GameCube's are fixed function.
What does this mean?
>>377708956
It means their functionality is customisable. GameCube's vertex and pixel shaders can only do things that were baked into the hardware by the designers.
>>377708851
Hardware issues? Mine still works, had it since 2002.
Both systems are still pretty easy to find. Gotta give the edge to xbox just because of how much easier it is to find working controllers for it tho.
