I've only played the first game and that's basically how I felt about it. But average/mediocre is still good enough to get some fun out of the experience even if it's nothing groundbreaking. I never had any real issues with the camera besides its up/down range not being as much as I would have liked

CE2 was just ok. It's just more of the same I guess. No real need to get it when CE/DX+ exists. And it has less content than DX+

Instead of slow motion when you are about to get hit by ghosts in the other game you need to hit a ghost a few times to make them angry before they can kill you and a starting point warp item. That's all that's really new.

No multiplayer is also kinda shit not to have too.
