Like Roadhog, she has more health than most other heroes due to all of the fat on her body.

I feel for other heroes it'd be better if her total health dropped a bit due to how easily she can tank hits and survive unnecessarily long. It'd be better than how she currently is, and can counter her very easy playstyle of "hose the fuckers down, sit perfectly still while staring them in the eyes, and press RMB".

But that's coming from a person that mostly plays Roadhog to help the team actually fucking kill someone, so she's probably far less of a problem for actually good players.

Mei was the only character I enjoyed playing in the OW OB, because it was the only one that made me feel in control of the game. She can really stall shit forever in chokepoints. But since every other hero was frustrating to play I decided to not buy.

No one who plays her on gold really knows how to play her. A shitty Widow might be a waste of a team member but at least she can't actively kill the team by cutting it in half for no reason. I am by no means good at Overwatch, I know this, and thus I only play the characters I know I won't suck at. Imagine if we had a character who could lay down an AoE hazard on the ground, like a puddle of poison or a device that creates a hazardous condition like extreme heat in an area. Now imagine that this is done on top of Mei while she's sitting in her ice block, so the moment she unfreezes she's in the middle of danger that she can't simply wall off to save herself.

Literally my favourite character in the game because she perfectly represents how the game played last fall.

I'm not saying things are better or worse, but stick with me.

Mei is a griefer's wet dream. Teamblocking, invincible regen. Did you know making an ice wall directly underneath you and popping the ice shield creates a gigantic middle finger made of ice? She's just a fun character to fuck around with, and her dialogue is designed to be annoying.

Compare her with junkrat, and you can see how the bipolar balancing behind Overwatch fucks it up. Junkrat is another shitter character I lovebusing. He needs more bombs, more height on his bomb jump, and just a higher capacity for fuckery.

It just sucks that the fungap between a character like Junkrat, who plays and acts weird is so wide from his direct competition Pharaoh who is more effective, but just fucking dull to play.
