Because Michael and Trevor were at least interesting.
Franklin had the least content and relevance aside from being a San Andreas nostalgia fest.

Why would Franklin just up and decide to kill one of the characters who elevates him from nothing and helps him out anyway? None of the endings where someone dies makes a lick of sense.

Why the fuck the plot is so rushed towards the end. The endings doesn't felt like actual endings but rather the end of act 2.

Even without the loss of content there's still no reason to kill one of them off when you can just pick the "nothing bad happens" ending. Franklin has a weak ass motivation. He didn't liked the hood and his interaction with his ex is extremely minimal. What's even wrong is that his own plot is already done before and done better with CJ.

It's literally CJ. He's from the hood, got jobs with some powerful people, got rich, but then reminded that he is still from the hood and he shouldn't had left his people. But with CJ we got plenty of interesting characters, more missions, and pretty much a longer game thus we can see the development of CJ as a character very clearly.

With Franklin, everything is almost immediate and without room to breath or to explain. He accidentally met Michael, he suddenly rob a jewelry store, he suddenly got a nice house from Lester, and he's suddenly have to save Lamar because for some fucked up reason, Tanisha come back despite we never seen her before, ever. Not to mention that the whole plot is always centered around Michael and Trevor, that makes it even laughable that the endings suddenly are centered around him.

He's underdeveloped and uninteresting.

The game is goat story up until the first heist ends. It tanks afterwards but playing as trevor up north is fun until you come back down. The second sub heist sucks ass and then the game just goes down hill. Shit just resolves itself and theres no game. Nothing to manage, nothing to do, you cant fail missions, you dont need to buy guns you dont have to play this game it plays for you.

I agree about Franklin, it feels like they forgot about him in the middle of the game. But his motivation was ok, people around him are dumb and just drag him down, Lamar will never stop being stupid and naive, that crackhead girl and her boyfriend will never stop taking drugs and actually do their job etc. And people are already making fun of him how he is hanging with white guys and doesn't care about old friends anymore. They started that whole thing well but eventually stopped that whole storyline when he moved into the new place.

I didn't say the previous GTA games didn't have satire. I said that it was mostly limited to optional content, like TV shows and easter eggs. Contrast the storyline of GTA IV with GTA V. Even San Andreas, which had a fucking jetpack, had a more serious storyline. Most characters in V don't really seem like actual characters, Rockstar just picked one gimmick for each person and ran with it.

Deathwish was the only ending that did.
It tried to force a decision but really as a player there's no contest.
Both in and out of gameplay you're pretty unstoppable but they try to pretend these guys have you over a barrel. And you're absolutely proven right when you kill them all pretty easily after a mildly difficult gun fight.
The other two endings are tacked on and don't tie up most the loose ends.

But then I reloaded the save and went for option C so that I wasn't locked out of content. Pretty dumb of me since I dropped the game after finishing it but as 50 other people already stated, why limit the amount of end game content that you have?

Dialogue that would only appeal to those sad fucks who used to watch Jackass on MTV and have seen all those Jackass movies, and love Bam Margera and that whole sad excuse for a group.
