I personally found the original mario games much, much harder than DS 1, 2 or 3.

The 4th Dark Souls game was the hardest by fat though.

The game has tons of bugs but its amazi g for the first half, probably mine and a lot of others' favourites.
The best part is probably the level layout and how the shortcuts and levels map to another.
I've never seen a game do it as well as this.
Also the combat's pretty fun, i don't like new game+ as it turns enemies into health sponges.

I'm not gonna lie the game has aged like hot piss, its good and you can see the effort put into it but its controls, visuals and gameplay were better back then, or I just never noticed it.
My hopes that they remaster the game with DS3s visuals and DS2s mechanics

Those games are hard from bad game design and lack of knowledge in a new rising industry.
Dark souls has bad design too but better experience with gamers abd people in general to create fun challenges.

Pick one. The hardest aspect of that game is memorizing a moveslist to combo to your heart's content. Shit isn't aggressive by any measure in DMC games except DMC1. DMC3babbies sure are fucking delusional.
