Cockatrice is pushing it, but it's not too far out there.

Kirin and Quetzalcoatl counting are the real problem. A kriin is a generic chimeric animal, it's not particularly shown to be reptilian, unlike a lung.

Quetzalcoatl isn't even a type of creature to begin with, it's a specific incarnation of a specific god in aztec mythology which is typical of a god archtype throughout mesoamerica.

If they wanted to represent that archtype generally as a type of dragon, which would still be sort of dumb since there's not really any shared influences or conceptual foundation that links it to eurasian dragons, then you'd want "feathered serpent" as a generic term. (Then again, Quetzalcoatl does litterally mean feathered serpent in nahuatl, so maybe they just used that since "feathered serpent" sounds a little too plain)

All you niggas are retarded. A classic gem, and my favorite game of all time unironically. Drakan: Order of the Flame. It's easy to find, and there are fan patches on Arokh's Lair for modern systems and fixing bugs only. It has a decent sized albeit corny story, REALLY meaty, gory combat on the ground and in the air. Very fluid transition from ground to air at any time because the dragon is your mount. Graphics are dated but the level and art design are fucking awesome. Need more info I got you guys. I have the entire game memorized.
