I enjoyed psn more than I did live. Something about their community was just different and I liked it. I miss those ps3 days. The online was fucking free too. In reality, live and psn were the same thing in the end just with different features. I never understood why people argued which was better. Some even made the excuse that just because live was a paid subscription, it just had to be better.

This is true. I read an interview with Kaz which he said they made PS3 difficult to program for on propose (to have more exclusives). The decision to include PS2 chip in the launch unit also increased the price.
I think Kaz was great for PSP but he ruined the PS3 first 4 years. On the other hand developers didn't put much effort to make good PS3 games other than Naughty Dog, Kojima and Insomniac.

Doesn't mean much, besides that Sony kept producing models for 10 years like they promised. Sony lost all of their PS1 and PS2 profits in the first two years of the PS3 alone, and they never recouped the costs. It sold vastly less than the PS2 despite the far higher investment from Sony
