It depends on the mission, if the mission is long solely because you have to do something time consuming and tedious then it is a problem, the dock one involving trevor is definitely the worse in regards to that. I don't want to spend the whole game in bombastic shootouts. Short simulations that build atmosphere are fun even if they aren't always action packed. Personally I just really want to see less glitches, more continuity (like my car not fixing itself or switching my clothes for example) and sim elements in GTA and I'll be happy. Definitely pour some effort into story and characters, too. SA, VC, RDR, and IV are all better examples of how to do a good Rockstar game. But this new generation calls for more sim elements in games. Otherwise it's unfulfilling to play. Really needs more challenge. Even IV had you die relatively quickly if you didn't play smart. Made it a lot more fun. Dark Souls is hard and still maintains a large fan base. What is Rockstar so afraid of? I even like FO4's Survival Mode as an example of how to do modern game mechanics at least slightly correctly.
