A nearly 100% perfect game minus the limited/consumable healing items. Bloodborne with the estus flask system would have been the absolute perfect fucking game. Just sucks when you first start and you face a boss you have a hard time with and you have to start farming blood vials, really takes away from the experience. Blood gems are also a shitty RNG way to upgrade your weapon.

Combo weapon upgrade and healing system from DS3 and everything else from Bloodborne and that's my ideal game.

Finished it last week.
It has been an amazing experience.
i wanted to play finally nier who sat in my shelf but instead made another character.

its great.

Don't look ANYTHING online. i loved to explore the world(there are some good secrets, like entire new areas and bosses)and be abosrbed by the game.

Dont be too scared to fuck up the build. All you have to do on the first playtrogh is have decent health and end, around 25 is fine even on endgame. put all the rest on your weaponfu stats when you find it. ALL weapons in the game is good-there are no better or worse weapons stat wise a la dark souls.

Learn to sidestep and don't be afraid to be aggressive.

never grind. Levels scale slowly, its a lot better to learn to overcome your obstacles.
I started a new char and the game feels like easy mode-but my build is almost useless(building for arcane items mid-late game because I couldn't use them on my first char)-but thats just because I know how to play and not because I spent hours into getting exp. its a good feeling.

have fun. Its a great game and you wont regret it.

Yes it's harder than the base game, at least the bosses are aside from one of them. Pretty fantastic areas with two of the best bosses in the series.

I wasn't fond of the souls series because I thought the combat was too slow and I wasn't fond of the medieval fantasy thing, but the faster combat system and the move to gothic scenery.

That being said I did guide a bit since some of the paths require some bullshit to open.

Bloodborne is the only game I've been playing for the last 6 months. And no, I wasn't influenced by /b/. It was on sale on PSN and I looked at metacritic reviews and decided to buy it.

It's fucking phenomenal. Gorgeous. Almost perfect besides a vague narrative.

If instead of injecting blood vials like a drug addict you learn to parry and the enemy/boss moveset maybe you wont have to farm for vials enough to be a problem.

Ill admit that on my first playthrough i had issues with blood vials farming but once you get used to the game you wont be low on them so often, also spending some echoes to buy vials surely helps.

Chalice Dungeons are the worst part of Bloodborne, hope you like seeing the same rooms over and over and over and over again.

Here is you hard earned cursed gem, except it has a big damage penalty for the type you seek.

Also we made defiled chalice dungeons so your hp gets cut in half, but dont worry you take reduced damage from physical attacks, oh i forgot to mention, elemental damage remains the same, and most defiled chalice enemies deal elemental damage, have fun.

Also not regarding Chalice but the fact that you have no "New Game +" changes is a letdown.

The game is short so play it with the DLC.

Avoid chalice dungeons, they re shit.

Focus on attacking no defending, Health trading is super important and combos.
