Every online game with an active community will get a remaster that changes virtually nothing but forces you to pay another $60+ just for dedicated servers you were in most cases promised.

If you got then through PS+ you will probably lose them. If you stay offline for a set amount of time it requests you to verify the game through the store. Normal purchases should be fine.
