Is it good? Worth picking up over Overwatch, DOOM, Battlefield, etc?

Its going to be free, give it a try and see what you think rather than asking people on a tibetan basket weaving forum.

has memory leak problems + mouse movement and weapon switching doesn't feel as responsive as quake live but it's still a really sick game and one of the few shooters worth putting time into.

First of all, it probably won't be released for a long time; it's still in beta and there's a lot of stuff they have yet to fix like memory leaks, delay on rocket, etc.. That being said it's a great game, a lot better than I thought it was going to be, and I would highly recommend it. If you've played Quake before, or any arena shooter, you'll feel right at home in this game, regardless of the moba abilities.

I think it's pretty shit.

Clunky movement, takes 3 seconds to switch weapons, every character but Anarchy is useless, having characters with different stats and hitboxes just means everyone is going to play the most OP, powers are underwhelming, netcode is abysmal, character models are abysmal, you can get trapped in other peoples character models, have to buy Champions with IRL money, have to buy the neato classic weapon skins with IRL money, level design is pretty shit. The winding corridors make going fast a hassle unless you play Anarki, since he's the only one that can turn in air, rocket damage is incredibly inconsistent, no CTF.

Probably more I'm forgetting, but this game is going to be DoA. It has no appeal to anyone.

He might be mad cuz gud but has to be brought down to baddie level. It's like playing Quake, Final Destination, Fox only, all items on.
