I'm the biggest Xenoblade Chronicles fan around but I think XC2 looks absolutely dreadful. It's way too derivative while not even being able to capture the same charm of the original. Also there's a patch that disables the games shitty native AA and that boosts framerates a ton.

That is completely untrue. The OP always says something along the lines of "apologize to Nintendo, they won't the console generation, their games are the best ever made." While Xenoblade is clearly not coming out this year, I think Nintendo is in a situation where they HAVE to release Mario for the holiday season, even if it means cutting content to make the deadline.
