I'd have to spend time learning combos and generally how to play the game beforehand. It would increase the longevity of the game but it depends on how much I wanna invest in it... I heard some people really liked the first Injustice and put a ton of hours into it. So maybe it has that addictive aspect.

Learning combos isn't going to help you against the endless wave of player ranged spam because this suffers the problem of the original in which there isn't anything in place to really deal with projectiles.
