When you become a demon the shrapnel turns into a horn and Snake is covered in blood.

Snake has actual cuts in his face and half of it is burned. In TPP, regardless of if you're a demon or if you sustain in injuries in gameplay, you cannot receive burns or cuts. Snake simply gets bloodier. Not to mention he doesn't have the SHRAPNEL in his skull. The shrapnel wasn't even native to the explosion. The shrapnel was forced into his skull by whoever captured him at Camp Omega (likely Zero).

The thing is that even if it was complete, with chapter 3 and the jungle showdown, it still wouldn't be good. Instead of being a mediocre game without closure it would be a mediocre game with closure. The FOB stuff feels incredibly tacked on, you can't even visit or defend your friend's bases despite that being one of the major points in the FOB video demonstration.

The open world design was a mistake on Kojima's part, and we know this was the plan back when all we saw was a couple screenshots of project OGRE. What would've been much better is if you had a variety of bases to inflitrate, or assault, that were comparable in size to camp omega, maybe some bigger and some smaller. Your first go would be plot related missions but you could go back to them for alternate missions much like GZ, with expanded options like time you want to go in or where you want to start the mission from.

Open level, with the same depth as the main game, but without the emptiness and small shanty town bases the open world brought.

I'm the first person who said anything about the emblem. I will answer why it seems like the Kojima Emblem is going to be released the same time as E3.

1. It is the last Emblem to be released in the game.
2. Usually, a new emblem drops every 2 weeks, but they have been holding off on the Kojima one.
3. New equipment(usually lately it's only been upgrades to existing equipment of course) drops every 4-6 weeks.
4. There is only one more round of new equipment before literally everything except the emblem has been released for Phantom Pain.
5. The current release schedule for that update of equipment should be June 13th. E3's schedule is June 13th-15th.

If they don't release it then, they're never going to release it. Just seems to be a happy coincidence, don't you think? Also there is placeholder data that suggests there's going to be one last year long update that will, at the very least, contain up to level 15 equipment along with whatever else they may add to the game. Couldn't agree more. The analysis videos of Death Stranding discover so many details that I completely missed and are putting the pieces together for me on what to expect.

It's clear as day that they're taking a lot of elements they wanted to explore in other games and are using them here. There's no sense in letting a good concept or creative team sit and rot, particularly if it hasn't been formalized into an IP yet.
