Because their version of Frieza masqueraded as a hero instead of nuking planets, enslaving the saiyans and other races, and having guys who got to strong systematically destroyed. The saiyans in U6 are either punks or regular people because they're universe is totally laid back without real threats. U7 was under constant wars under frieza's rule, and even when that shit ended there was still cell, buu and other galactic fuckers causing chaos now that Frieza was out of the picture. It's the equivalent of a spoiled kid having it easy under his parent's roof and not knowing what real struggles are. I'll actually be upset if someone like 17 or 18, or even Frieza (who was confirmed to replace buu) doesn't just give them a reality check on power levels.

He only gave Cabba one but Cabba wasn't a smug bastard and was actually open to improvement. Caulifa, Kale, and the other saiyans that may join up have no idea what they're dealing with, and to Caulifa it's just another power boost for her to dick around as the tough gang boss to her squad. I mean, I just want to see our characters prove to the other universes that they've seen constant shit and wars much harder than the rest, and the only reason why they're ranked one of the lowest is because of centuries of mass genocide that wiped out all of the fighters. You look at all the other universes and it's either peaceful or being taken care of my their respective 'hero squads', while U7 was literally survival of the fittest to this day. I feel like that's one of the biggest annoyances fans are having with Toriyama and how he's making guys who should be weaklings from other universes possibly match U7's guys, who are already far beyond planet busters (since Frieza was already a multi-planet buster on just his first form). What's more annoying is that fembroly might turn out to be a big deal... and she really shouldn't be when fat buu at this point should be able to solo everyone in U6 except hit... hell.. someone like 18 and piccolo should be able to deal with half of their squad.

It is enjoyable at times but sometimes the power level destruction goes too far. Frieza is already confirmed to be coming back for this tournament and his Gold form was superior to SSB back in the ROF saga and movie. He should be able to solo a lot of guys on the tournament on his own, but we all know he's going to job to someone that isn't Jiren, when he should only be able to job to Jiren or some close to him in power level. It's just so hard to go back from the Black Saga where Goku and Vegeta should be far beyond Golden Frieza (unless he trains more) at this point and still semi-struggle to people who aren't the final bosses of their universe. The fact that it shows Vegeta getting shit on by the fat magical girl in the opening is just annoying, and a lot of fans shared that feeling.

Although this saga was fun, it felt like all the fan theories made it more interesting when we had no idea what the deal with Black was. I think somewhere along the line they said there would only be 4 DLC packs and the next one with Fused Zamasu and Blue Vegito is the 4th one so at this point they'll probably let super finish before xenoverse 3.

As amazing as this sounds, It should spiral out of control in different ways. For example, there should be no goten and so on if goku was kidnapped way prior, and instead take place after each spiral. Like so:

A world without Goku would spiral to an endless war of survival of the fittest, the strongest baddy being the top dog, and most likely Majin Buu or kid Buu due to the mass genocide bringing him out being the last guy... after he absorbed frieza/androids/saiyans/cell of course.

Since Xenoverse's theme is messing around timelines there is no much to it. They will probably do the same shit in X3, with more movie characters and bit of Super with Black/Zamasu the main point.
