it's really sad and kind of scary, there's a documentary about star wars fans who went through something similar, they fell into a deep depression because of the prequels, but with MGSV it's the worst I've ever seen because the themes of the game reflect what's happening irl and kojima twists the knife. it's really like mild PTSD at this point for some of these people

I already answered this. Meme all you want but most normies think TPP was meh at worst. It was a disappointing Metal Gear experience but it still had plenty of hours of content. Even for a game that was aiming to be disappointing it was still better than 80% of games that are made seriously and end up being shit. Regardless of whether or not it was the inferior version of MGS5, it had 100s of hours of content.
