I wonder if he really likes those smug shitty meta games because as a reviewer, he plays games more than I do including ones he doesn't like or don't appeal to him, so games that try to bitch at you and say "Man, games are shit and so are you, huh?" really appeal to him.
I don't agree with him certainly, Bioshock Infinite especially is one of the worst games I ever played and I quit playing Spec Ops halfway through because the gameplay was such trash.
