Probably. I only ever played XII when it first came out and I don't remember really liking it. I heard that the Zodiac system made the game way better somehow, plus I just feel that I will be able to enjoy it more than I did when I was younger.

I don't expect any of those that aren't FF12 HD with exception of maybe FFT to get ported though. FFT HD has a high-res updated sprites mobile port so we could get that but VS, Xenogears and Chrono don't (CT is literally a very poor DS emulation on mobile and no longer even supported by Squeenix).

They really meant IZJS to be for people that loved XII and wanted more challenges. So not only are you restricted to one class, at least in IZJS, but there is also a 100 floor trial mode.

What I really wanted was a job change feature, like in FFT, or maybe for your class to change depending on what weapon you have equipped at the moment or something. If you emulate, there is a tool that lets you change jobs, but it wasn't coded into the game per se, so I'd rather they implement it directly.

Yep, but not for a while. Too many games out and July is Splatoon month for me. Not to mention June is Stormblood, so I'll probably have my fill of Final Fantasy by the time the Remaster comes around. Then there are all the other games I haven't been able to play cause of the packed early 2017 so far. I'll probably try for P5 whenever I've spent enough time in Splatoon 2.

As far as I understand, it'll be like multiclassing in FFT, where you can assign skills from other jobs to your main job, but that apparently, after you choose your two jobs, you're stuck with those two jobs and can't switch, which is how IZJS is, save for only having one job.

Yeah, but you have to beat the Trial Mode first in order to unlock it. And it's a New Game+ mode. It also has another NG+ mode where you start out in level 90 and never level up, which you get for beating the game. At least that's how it was in IZJS. They might make it like NG+ in, say, the Chrono games, where you retain levels, skills and equips you had at the end of the game, but they haven't really spoken much about that yet.
