I strongly recommend Nier Automata, Dark Souls 1, and Bloodborne for you then. If there's an opposite of uninspired, those games are it. The directors clearly had incredibly strong and unique visions when creating those games.

I'm with you. I had a huge list of games I was looking forward to this year but it was mostly front loaded, and now I'm down to just Arms, FE Warriors, Xenoblade, and Odyssey. That's a great Switch lineup but I hope there's more PS4 and PC stuff announced at E3 since they're looking bone dry for me at this point

I actually have pretty high hopes for this. XV showed some promise, it was just a mess like all games with too long developments. I'm hoping they learn their lesson from XIII and XV and XVI is actually good.

I'm ready for FF to be good again dammit, at least XII Zodiac will scratch that itch in the mean time.

I'm with you on no preorders, but hype is the best part of this hobby. I got way more enjoyment out of Brawl as an idea in Japan Time than I ever did out of actually playing the game. Hype is fun.
