Zombies to me are unrelenting, but more often than not that's not the case. Maybe it's because the characters all have instant army training and can pop headshots like popcorn but on the other hand if you play as someone useless it's not gonna make for fun gameplay either, or otherwise force it into full on stealth.

It's awful, every single fucking melee weapon in those games all feel the exact same with slightly different particle effects and damage modifiers affecting whatever you're hitting. It was fun for 20 minutes if you just went around jump-kicking/punching the shit out of the zombies but after that you're expected to take things seriously and pick up a weapon but they all feel like weak boring shit that breaks after 20 hits. The bulk of the game's gameplay is the worst aspect of the game, wailing on zombies with weapons that all feel the exact fucking same.

Different styles of helmet could give you good visibility without sacrificing protection and it could be painted matte OD green (or whatever else to blend into your surroundings) but one of the worst things would be the weight. The weight distribution of plate armor isnt too bad but after a few hours in that shit, you will want to get out of it.

As far as a zombie apocalypse is concerned, you'd be better off in a shark suit with a motorcycle helmet.

Are there any good 'realistic' zombie survival games? When I say realistic I just mean that one shot to the head is a kill no matter how strong it is.

This was my biggest complaint in CoD Zombies matches. The zombies get faster and stronger and then it becomes unbeatable because you have to camp in one spot and all aim at their heads and it's eventually 6 head shots with the best guns to kill one zombie. I want a slow/fast moving swarm that can easily be killed but you have a small supply of weapons and you need to keep moving and not just camp in one spot.

Does such a game exist?

I'd say the issue lies more with the creators rather than the concept itself. Train to Busan came out last year and while the concept is outdated the movie itself is incredible. It's a real tearjerker near the end too.

I remember it, I remeber having alot of fun with it. It genuinely felt like a survival horror game, but it went to shit fast as all F2P do

The MMO is still a thing. It is the same game like it was like 8 years ago. The most notable things devs added are op weapons and armor for real money. The game is still kinda fun since it is mostly PvE oriented. And suprisingly it still has like 2000 players on most of the time.
