Valve is notorious for not participating in E3. Not to mention they don't even need a platform like E3 to announce something at this point. E3 is a good way to garner attention if you plan on revealing multiple projects for big publishers and an easy way of getting press coverage for semi-small developers. But big-boy devs don't give a shit about E3 if they only want to reveal one project, that's why Valve, Blizzard, CoD devs, Rockstar etc never do reveals there: they don't need to.

I'm not hype.
But i like to bet on what kind of failure we will see, and my bet is that the switch will be the king of the ((render targets)) this year.
Tablet actually proven itself to be better than expected, but only did that by april, which means rushed ports, which means companies like ubisoft and activision wanting to impress, which means ((render targets)).
If Assassin's creed get announced for the switch, it will be a nice shitshow that will last for months.

As much as I love MH3U/4U, I don't think I could stomach playing another 240p MonHun on 3DS or 360p upscaled to 720p on Switch.

The year is 2017 already. It's time for Capcom to release a 1080p MonHun on a much more powerful platform.

Given the fact the monhun on the fucking WiiU runs at 1080p, its quite possible they will aim for 1080p on the switch as well, and it probably will handle it a lot better, specially if capcom still reuse the 3DS assets.
