I agree, there's so little reason to care about variety in anything and the game is designed are extremely specific, repetitive actions. It wouldn't be bad if they came up with ways of making it far deeper given you're forced essentially into a speedster build, but really the game just makes it easier to spam shit and offers no alternate strategies or much reason to get excited about discovering shit.

When I activate the first torch, I killed at least 30 mobs and still didn't find another checkpoint. There are tons of different paths, and I ended up running into 2 giant wolfs that fucked me up. Spent another 20minute and I ran to the boss who would just run up to me and hit me once and I"m dead. I'd bait him out and its the same clunky fucking garbage combat. The game is not good, at all. 10gb fucking patch from day 1. Camera angles fucking awful, locking onto targets constantly. I get they wanted to make a dark souls clone but they skipped any story and dropped you in a boss fight from the first level. Run to the left and some giant nigger rapes you with absolutely no skill required. Oh yea you get a range weapon that deals 2 damage.

I didn't really get on with Bloodborne (a bit of an understatement, but already shows you're not willing to alienate people who may like it.)
I felt it's difficulty while a draw for some, put me off. (Again a repeat of a less aggressive stance.)
I don't play games too often but when I do, I do it to relax and enjoy. (Shows an understanding there is another point of view)
I felt some of the mechanics were there to make it seem hard but instead I felt cheated. (Gets your point across to an audience who now has time for you debate.)
Give a specific example (always helps your arguement if you can bring facts to the table, even if these a chance of a counter arguement)

It's a linear game with all these different paths that lead to the same result. I wasn't prepared and the first pack of 4 enemies I deal with just fuck your shit up. There isn't skill involved, just patience. I gave it a go and got pretty far but with no checkpoint I was starting over at the same point. 30 years old is stating I've played diablo, quake, unreal tournament,lots of games and I just don't see the appeal of this genre. So many people posted this was a console seller and I don't see it. When you get old enough you see artificial difficulty in a single player game is fucking useless. There is no one to show off your skill and there is nothing that makes you feel good in this game.

If you can't deal with the first four enemies then you should explore a bit to get around them.
