What was your top played game in Xfire?
WoW I had around 1400 hours and CS:Source at around 500. I believe after that was Wolfenstein:ET, DOD 1.6 and The Specialists at around 150-200 hours. The Specialists might have been closer to 300.
>tfw they turned xfire into shit and removed the one feature that made it unique
>>377585718
jesus christ, this fucking thing is still around?
>>377586618
I was actually curious as well but no apparently it hasn't been around since 2013. Steam friends and them eventually adding playtime tracking killed it I imagine.
battlefield heroes, I had a video on there that was a pleasant reminder of what the game used to be like before the p2w garbage came around Christmas, and now xfire is gone, the video is gone, and battlefield heroes is gone
Halo Custom Edition
Solitaire, back when my dad shared the PC with me.

The Specialists 2.1
used to use Xfire to chat with the clan on jedi academy.
those were the days

>We won't add anything more than cosmetic items

Trusting EA not even once.

Hands down my favorite mod of all time. So sad to see it dead, I spent so much time in RP servers as well only game I ever really enjoyed it in. Was disappointed Double Action: Boogaloo was mediocre as fuck had nowhere near as much depth especially with weapon selection.
I keep an eye on the RP community that keeps trying to make a comeback but it always dies so quickly.

Sadly most mods for Half-Life 1 that aren't Cry of Fear or Sven aren't as popular anymore. I miss playing Firearms, TS, and Battlegrounds.

didnt ask for this feel

Yeah I mean its inevitable though goldsrc is quite old and outdated although I still find the visual very charming. Its honestly ridiculous how much better goldsrc was for modding over source. Source mods always felt way to similar to HL2 and very limited.
i completely forgot about xfire.
I mainly used it when i played WoW a lot to keep track of friends ive made in various guilds.
Then when i stopped playing wow, i randomly stopped using xfire and just forgot about it andthe people i met on WoW

TS 3.0 still has a dedicated community of highly skilled players. Unfortunately these highly skilled players completely decimate anyone taking up the game for the first time.
Double Action: Boogaloo is still being worked on, no?
>>377587621
>TS 3.0 still has a dedicated community of highly skilled players.
I hop every once in awhile and I rarely see anymore than 1 or 2 players on any servers.
>Double Action: Boogaloo is still being worked on, no?
Not sure honestly it was last updated in October last year.
>>377586696
>Steam friends and them eventually adding playtime tracking killed it I imagine.
Actually it was the buyout by MTV media and their commitment to their failing esports platform that killed them.
Steam actually sucks for playtime tracking if you have non-steam games.
>>377585718
>all your friends turning xyfire off because they cant face how much time they wasted in guild wars 1
yeah "family problems" are the reason you had to redo a whole school year. at least you claimed the hall for europe, faggot.
>>377588196
>I hop every once in awhile and I rarely see anymore than 1 or 2 players on any servers.
Just getting the wrong times is all that is. I've been playing 6-15 man games.
>>377588336
Interesting didn't even know MTV bought them out but that would actually explain it. As my post implied I was just assuming.
>>377585718
2000 hours in cod4
>>377588408
What times do you generally see people on and what time zone? I'd love to actually be able to play a few rounds again.

Yup, sad thing was, most of us knew that this meant the end for xfire. I remember that was the only thing my group of friends used for the longest time. I still have the .wav files of the main beeps and shit.
>>377588389
>tfw you would upload videos of the horribly bad cutscenes in GW1
>tfw you would specifically have a MM necro just to make cutscenes complete chaos
Xfire and Guild Wars defined my mid-teenage years.
>>377588463
Don't keep track to be honest. This guy on Steam invites me to TS games randomly, and whenever he does there are other people playing. Add me on Steam. whitedude877
>>377588495
Man thats pretty said got a lot of good memories from the xfire days.
Trackmania Nations withSoldier Frontin a close 2nd
It took me 15 years to realize Xfire was pronounced crossfire and not with the english letter X. Other than that I distinctly remember having Xfire but I don't remember one game I used it for.
>>377589783
this but it was too late at that pointand now it doesn't even matter
>>377589783
well fuck me
>>377589783
Oh. Never knew that.
>>377589908
>>377589940
>>377589993
Holy shit I wasn't the only one? I don't feel so bad about it anymore.
>>377585718
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. In retrospect it's the best FPS I've ever played.
>tfw you realized you could edit the .xml file to get xfire to count other applications as games
I had SO many hours as John Deere Tractor Simulator because I set firefox in the files to count as it when it was open.
>when they added aim/msn/icq support so you could chat with people on those from in-game
>>377589783
Fug :DDDD
>>377585718
>WoW
>Wolf:ET
>RTCW
>CS 1.6
>CSS
>Sven CooP
>HL1
>Q3 Arena
In that exact order with, starting at 800 Hours and ending at 150 Hours.
I even found my old laptop that I got from my uncle after he switched jobs (a HP-Compaq NX8220 with an ati card in it)
It still has the old versions of steam and Xfire installed on this thing. God damn, I miss all the fun that I've had with this laptop.
>>377589783
Bullshit, everyone and their mothers pronounced "ex-fire"
>>377585718
Swat 4.
>tfw running around Food Wall Restaurant pepperspraying everything
>>377585718
World of Warcraft by a fucking mile, I more than 7000 hours tracked before I stopped using Xfire. MapleStory was second at 2000 hours.
Literally over 9000 hours of two shitty MMOs, my high school life was a meme.
>>377592231
Are you me, anon?
>>377592305
I might be
I mainly used xfire to talk with clan mates for wolfenstein enemy territory. I'll never get to talk to them again, since xfire is kill. My most played game must've been either Wolf ET or cs:s
Probably Sven Coop
>>377585718
Is there still a way to look up your stats? I guess my most played games was LoL with 1400 hours
>>377592679
Unless someone else archived them, I don't think so. The entire service is shut down.
