A PSP with CFW is fucking god-tier. I need to get a PSP Go seeing as my old PSP is fucked.
I finished softmodding the PSP side of my 6.36 Vita but it's just not as good as a PSP. Mainly because of how much of a hassle it is to add shit on there.

the screen and form factor are nice, but it was produced too late and did too little. The incompatibility with most attachments and special carts was a let-down too. You would be hard pressed to say that it was the best ever.

this will be the greatest handheld ever made. 3ds + ds library, with fantastic emulation for gba, gb, gbc, game gear, genesis, snes, and nes through vc. also has upcoming games that are worth anticipation and will eventually be extremely easy to pirate/use homebrew when its firmware gets a hack

GOAT. People complaining about the screen size should reasonably be shot as part of an Eugenics program. You don't realize that when you have good vision, it is by far the best way to play gba games.

Easy as fuck emulation with Android, and really solid controls. Even the little joysticks and secondary shoulder buttons work well enough. It's better and more capable than PSP emulation ever was, and can even emulate PSP.

And if you emulate with your phone on any serious level, consider this: touch controls suck. If they suck too much for you to put up with, you'll probably want a separate controller. Really tiny controllers require you to set your phone up on a table with a kickstand which usually isn't ideal, so you'll want a larger one with a clip to hold your phone while you play. At this point, such a controller is taking up as much space in your pocket as a separate handheld device anyway - if not more since the GPD device folds flat - so what's the difference between a bluetooth controller and a pocket-sized Android game system? Well, the difference is that the latter option means you won't use up your phone's battery while you play.

I've always had big hands. The original Gameboy, Color, SP were all too small. The Advance, DS, and micro had better layouts. If you ever get the chance try playing on a PSPGO. It's unreal how they thought it was comfortable.
