Why is it funny? That's more players than any other MMO get's nowadays.
>>377563415
>it used to be 12 million
>o-one point nine is still good!
>>377563546
12 million Nostalgia fags who don't actually realize Legion is the best game WoW has ever been.
>>377563653
>literally just grind for AP
>the "biggest content patch ever", 7.2, added ~10 quests that are timegated and a raid that wouldn't open for months
>>377563546
The game has been out for almost 14 fucking years, what do you expect? And 2 mil is still more than enough players, when it gets to around 100k players then it would be concerning.
what's prestige?
f2p when?

All they had to do was what they had been doing for half a decade.
But nah, they just had to try and grab that sweet casual money for maximum profits.
Short term profits are CANCER.
>>377563103
The funniest part is that probably 50% of that number is Chinese time card accounts. WoW on its deathbed, good riddance.

So it's dead, right?
>>377564606
The game used to have 12 million players and has the EXACT SAME amount of servers now as it did back then.
Blizzard has not deleted or merged ANY servers because it would basically be them admitting their game is dying.
There are servers right now online that have 50 people on them. It's a joke
>>377563103
Good.
MMOs need to die.
Like MOBAs, they are a genre incapable of delivering anything but garbage.
>>377564339
Blizz got everything they could ever want from WoW. It's been pure profit since month 6. I'd say blizz's business decisions have been purely positive. If I were in their shoes I would have done everything the same
>>377566102
And that's the reason for the downfall of gaming.
>>377566370
Not every game needs to be a passion project.
>>377564702
Nope, many servers have been merged since the days WOW had 10+mil players.
If you take that as some representation of sub numbers, then consider that a week ago there was another poll with 4.9m.
Which shows those only to be a SAMPLE of the whole, which as stated is at the very least excluding anything which is not EU or US.
So if that is what you are saying, then the jumping to such conclusions would be what is "sad".
not a big surprise. if you look servers only few have high status and literally rest are low status servers. its clearly obvious that theres only youtubers and twitch streamers playing
>>377566624
50 cents have been deposited into your account.
>>377567152
Nice try kiddo but as I said it's only US and EU regions. Asia not included where the bigger playerbase is.
>>377567407
>bigger playerbase
>pays a penny every few hours rather than $15 a month
