WaW is pretty basic in zombies, but on PC at least there's tons of great mods for it, which is what most people play now. Some maps are Black Ops 2 quality with perks, weapons, and features from other games. I played an incredibly well done and detailed map that was Mob of the Dead themed, had a nice bossfight and ending and stuff.
