Everyone always talks about Monster Girl Quest's story being good, but it falls apart the moment you view it objectively.

It ends up being one stupid child being manipulated by an obnoxious teenage monster into doing her bidding, with humans all being irredeemable retards and even the nice monsters imprisoning you for life.

There's virtually no pathos for either side of the conflict, and the main characters are both selfish idiots.

People were high on some shit when it was popular

What does it matter of the monster is an obnaxious teenager? It makes sense for the character. Not all humans are retards, just a fair number, which makes sense, considering it takes place in a middle-ages like world. The nice monsters imprisoning you for life is fine, monsters just have a different code of ethics, but have the capacity to understand that what they're doing is wrong when taught it. Luka and Alice both start off stupid (particularly Luka), but get smarter after being more exposed to the world.

There are a few monsters that are just terrible creatures. The beelzebubs come to mind and are killed by Alice instead of being sealed. I like some of the earlier parts that talk about how all female races need humans to have children but Ilias is a bitch and says that's bad.

Reminder that Yuri killed two people without any sort of trial because he *knew* they were bad guys.

Flynn is the "good guy" but if he was the protagonist of Vesperia he would have sucked because he's a Gary Stu. Instead you see him for a short bit every like 5 hours so you wind up liking him cuz hes such a nice guy.

Man I like that fan made side story where illias tells luka she pretty much planned the entire games plot right to the end and that he could of only surprised her if he brought aliens from another world and she even had a plan for that too.

Proceeds to shit on his beliefs and tell him he has pretty much doomed human kind and monster kind unless he gets off his ass, nuts up on alice and figures something out.

Did the game ever explain why Luka goes super saiyan when he falls asleep? I feel like this plot point just got forgotten.
