The world looks like they spent 5 minutes with a deform tool and all you find in the world are shrines and little leaf people to find.

I haven't played the game and have no particular feelings either way, but what I absolutely detest is the trend of low saturation fade filters that seems to plague modern video games.
I understand fading distant object might be to do with engine limitations in some cases, but even so it makes games unappealing and should be avoided.

It's about the interaction with the world. Given the freedom to chop down trees in a forrest and light them on fire to create an updraft of wind which you can use to get a height advantage on your enemies and destroy them with arrows.

Its more than acceptable. The world is built with so much care and still feels natural allthough its carefully crafted.

Witcher 3 looks better on stills but it never sells me on its landscape while traversing it, its just like a painting while botw feels like a place.

I have a high end pc but botw is by far the most enjoyable open world game i have evee played.
