Just installed the cia , what am I for?

Too much dialogue and a really fun turn based jrpg

Fun gameplay. Story that starts off pretty good but gets decent at best towards the end.

Great visuals
A polished and complex battle and class systems

Also play it with the English dub.
Tiz and Agnes are worse, but Ringabel and Edea are waaaay superior with the dub and they are the best characters in the game.

Those were some of the best fights in the game. I really don't get why people bitch about the repetition since those fights get altered in every loop. It's only the crystal bosses that don't change iirc

A) Those stupid assholes made more sense from the very beginning than any of the good guys, whose motives and behaviors are literal nonsense.

Its the opposite, you get more background for some bosses, relationships outside of their own divisions and more build-up for the final boss.
Boss rematches makes the loops enjoyable.

There's constants across all different universes and those ARE explained. Some very important ones, in fact, like Braev, DeRosso and Yulyanna's motivations, which we know for a fact their goals and motivations are always the same.

The few attempts there were at cross-communication were generally shut down by the party, rather than by the asterisks. Additionally, Edea at least should have had SOME faith and interest in the motives of the people she befriended and swore to protect her whole life prior, but instead kills them without attempting to discern why.

Meanwhile, from all their perspectives, she should know what they are doing and why, but she has abruptly turned traitor and started slaughtering grunts, and won't listen to reason. It's TERRIBLY written.
