How is this? Deluxe edition is currently 20 euro, down from 100 on PSN. Really liked HR but haven't heard much about this past the PC port being shite.

If you liked HR you will like MD, i genuinely loved both games and i'm upset it's on hold.
>>377513964
It's so fucking boring
completed it last week. its a bit short but better than I expected after all the bashing it received. ran fine on max settings except high textures on 2500k + 980 (1080p, 60-80fps, usually 100+fps indoor areas). very high textures requires 6gb+ vram.
if you liked HR you will like MD. its more of the same with better combat.
>tfw you didn't like HR
it's maybe mechanically better than HR but I still feel like it's wose

>if you liked HR you will like MD
Cool, might just pick it up then
>>377514195
PC would be my preferred platform really and I imagine it would be on sale at a similar price at some point but Sqeenix games just don't seem to like my computer
>>377513964
>tfw deus ex games are fantastic
>series cancelled because of shit day 1 optimization, microtransactions and cut story
most fun i've had in a while, an actual game instead of hand holding cinematic experience. play on give me deus ex difficulty too.

It's easily available for free on pc, so you might aswell try it on your pc. wouldn't recommend this game with a controller
>>377513964
It's literally half a game because Square Enix went full Jew. Just when you think the plot is actually getting into full swing, the game abruptly ends.
>>377513964
new games are just made for benching purposes apparently now since hardware is where all the money is
>>377514869
>series cancelled
>>377515131
>It's literally half a game
Well that's a bit of a bollocks
>>377515131
everyone repeats this meme but it lasted a good 50 hours for me with all side quests and you know the game is ending when you are getting ready/going toL O N D O N
if you just rush the main story without exploring or doing any side quests I can see it being under 20 hours

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-01-30-dont-expect-another-deus-ex-game-anytime-soon
game didnt make money, expect a ""reboot"" in 2030
>>377513964
worth that manoey
A Criminal Past dlc is especially good
>>377515131
It's not half a game, it's half a story. If you do side content the game actually takes longer than HR with all its optional stuff.
>>377515464
It took over 5 years to get a sequel to HR.
I think they will make a sequel in a few years, it's not a franchise they're just going to throw in the dumps. Maybe they will learn their lesson and not include a shitty, pointless mode like Breach, taking away resources from the single player campaign.
>>377513964
Way better than what everyone says.
>>377515464
>Square Enix's shift in focus to its recently-announced multi-game Marvel project,
Christ, this Marvel Universe shit is just gonna swallow up every fucking medium.
>>377515608
there was meant to be a trilogy, HR > MD > ??
third game got cancelled. MD was in development for 5 years, there is no third game in development now.
>It's unclear if this untold story will now be left unresolved - or tied up in another medium, such as a graphic novel.
should I get this for pc? it's 11.95 on g2a
Very underrated, but still slighlt weaker than HR
The main complaints you'll see in every MD thread is:
>microtransactions (for Breach)
>sequel bait ending
>boring and unnecesary Breach mode
I just picked this up today. I'm now in the mission where you investigate the train station where the bombing happened.
I haven't picked up any of the new experimental augs yet. They don't look that appealing to me except maybe Icarus Dash which is like Dishonored's Blink power. Which would you guys recommend? Right now I have the high jump, silent running, cloak, icarus, and I'm set basically.

Playing it right now and loving it. I am enjoying it almost as much as HR and I loved HR a lot.
Also I'm bit annoyed that the DLCs won't be integrated into the main game, like Missing Link for HR.
How's the optimization on pc?
Way to ruin a potential great sequel, damn shame.
