Nah. the first Xenoblade Chronicles was a mixed bag of innovative ideas and a frustrating slog through some of the worst side questing ever put into a a JRPG and XBX somehow managed to lean even harder into lame questing and autistic min-maxing while stripping out the first game's generically entertaining story for fan-fiction tier trash.

Yeah. XBX was pretty awful.
I really hope this is a better sequel to the original, where it fixes the problems the first one had and continues providing a similarly interesting story.
But simply because XBX exists I can't have any hype for this.

Thank God for the N3DS and Wii U releases, it made the original copy cheaper.

Yeah, never finished the original because I like playing games on the go but the N3DS port was ass, did like 10% or so. I'm probably going to read the story of the first one somewhere if it isn't ported to Switch.
