Final chapter is pretty easy. You'll gain lost levels in a couple of fights and there are still places to buy quartz if you REALLY want to. Just put Anelace, Tita and Agate in different parties so that each party will have someone with a strong weapon to take out the initial mobs.
Get ready for a triple boss fight with all non Kevin parties AFTER you went through the dungeon with all 4 parties

I just finished the 3rd. It's no SC and having to grind 400 battles for the last two doors was really tedious and killed off a lot of potential emotional momentum for me but I appreciate the game overall. It felt like a fandisk through and through and I'm glad I got to see the cast one last time until Crossbell.

Renne's behavior in SC is almost completely dominated by trying to maintain her delusion that it all happened to someone else, except instead of inventing fictional characters to protect her like she did in Star Door 15, now she tries to turn herself into a fictional character.

That way, in her mind, she is an entirely different person. Sure, that person is based on the girl in Paradise, but she isn't her. She is a princess who gets whatever she wants. Characters not in your party level up to a certain after every chapter to save you the trouble of catching up.

What really throws a wrench into this whole scenario are all the bonding events and shit. Had they stuck with the original version of the story, Alisa would have probably fallen in love with Rean by the end of CS1's events. This would have compelled her to try and bring him back during CS2. Sure, it's cheesy romantic bullshit and it kind of turns her into a spoony retard, but it makes a hell of a lot more thematic sense than a dude with an existing girlfriend trying to bring back a random high school buddy.

From what I gathered in the CS2 interlude, Crossbell's loaded with technology as well and is where the orbalnet started. There are now also highly-advanced mecha produced not by the 13 Factories, but by Reinford. ZCF has the Orbal Gear and is surely developing it. There's no way Verde won't want in on that pie. The arms race is going to be fun to follow.
