ancient engine, bad time settings, DLC vehicles / weapons you can't pick up/drive if you don't own said DLC

Play Squad instead, not a sandbox like Arma but similair open terrain combat and a much better pub community.

Not cold war, but some basic AKs, M4s and shit in the base game would have been good. The future "lmao we use 6.5 caseless and prototypes only xD" setting doesn't allow for many real milsim scenarios. That is why every group uses about 30+ gb of mods.

I get that if you like co-op there isn't really another option, but you gotta admit that Arma 3s PVP is pretty terrible, especially desync issues and the public community. There aren't many good PVP groups out there.
