I dislike how they approached the nerf but it was nothing short of obnoxious outside of finding an oblivious sniper to slap with it again and again. And even then, if you're an attentive sniper, now you have this fuckhead flying around that'll fall out of the sky and instant kill you at the drop of a hat. Even if you're paying attention to your surroundings, he's moving fast enough that reacting to stop him is extremely difficult, meanwhile all he has to do is do a simple stickyjump and slap the floor when he lands.
If the explosion scaled with health remaining, it'd have preserved the silly sniper hunting that it's been known for. But it'd also mean that pulling it out when you're shit out of health won't be nearly as effective. It means a demo has to actually do damage first instead of just flipping the table and calling you both dead, or alternatively don't get noticed and shot at before reaching a target.

In my experience, the direct hit requires lesser aim due to the faster projectile. Guess it's all opinionated. Personally I find myself dominating servers whenever I use the weapon.

I know you want to get gud with it, but trust me, I've tried, I'd rather just have reliable stock damage and crit hit than a meme that's only good with players who can aim in a tense situation. I don't aim for the head when I'm running away, I just shoot at the model to do damage to get them off me.

It's above the Ambassador because it doesn't have a shit fire rate and can do damage without having to aim frantically while a Pyro wants to rape your tight asshole.

The Enforcer is below it because it's nerf turned it into a gun that's TOOOO situational. It only does it's bonus damage if you fire and hit from a disguise, not to mention it's only use after that is to fuck with Vaccinator Medics. It's just too situational.

Diamond Back on the other hand has crits based on your stabs and saps that reliably work without the need for precise aiming. It has a slight damage debuff which is better compared to the Amby, and a fire rate that isn't shit. It's decent weapon stats locked into a ugly model. I pretty much listed the revolvers in terms of how useful they really are as tools to a Spy's arsenal. The last one is just a meme for going stock and looking pretty while doing it, seeing as Top Shelf Revolver and Knife are the best weapon skins EVER.

I still play tf2 but there are two huge problems that the game has:

>why play x class when you can play soldier
>the most popular maps are ones where you must funnel through 1-2 choke-points into your death with only small health-kits to sustain you

It really shows that most maps are not designed with 12v12 (aside from swiftwater) in mind. A lot of maps don't ever see play. It would be nice if there was something like an automatic, daily map rotation for casual servers or something.

Or they could just get rid of being able to vote for the same map, getting really sick of the 24/7 valve servers.

TF2 has been my favorite game since I started playing it in 2008. Call me a sheep or simply uninitiated, but this was long before the League of Legends mindset of "if it's troublesome, NERF IT" came about and I've accepted everything Valve has chosen to do with the game balance-wise.

Honestly, with the exception of a few hiccups that were later fixed, Valve has really been on-point with TF2. I wasn't "angry" when the Natascha had that crippling slow effect, I'd just be in it and go "OH FUCK! NATASCHA!"

BF4 had serious game play problems. IRNV was never a problem outside of metro/prison, but on those maps it killed the little amount of fun you could have. The laser and flare were OK counters till the other team realized what you were doing and just took IRNV off, which made them useless and started the loop all over. Because it lets demo fly to the enemy spawn in a single jump and there's nothing to counter it. Even with 2 sticky limit it's still dumb. It's a training weapon for fucks sake, demo shouldn't be able to deal any damage while it's equipped and same for the rocket jumper.

What if that person was your engineer or medic? Your team gets fucked over without them. I've been in that situation I'll see a demo go to spawn and blow up my tele and I'll have to go all the way back, switch off engineer, and kill him. And it's never "just one player" I've seen 6 fucking people waste their time chasing a sticky jumper demo around. It's too effective for how little effort it takes on the demos part. All he has to do is keep running away, you have to be faster than him AND win the 1v1 after.
