This is what pisses me off about TellTale, great engine, but they are too lazy to take an extra year or two to make choices actually matter.

Season 3 couls have had completely different protagonists and settings depending on your season 2 end, but somehow someway Clem manages to find Javi on the road in all 3

Not only is it a really anticlimatic death, it also fell into the obvious rule of major characters never dying offscreen.

Continuing the Clementine arc. S2 would either kill Clementine or Kenny and new characters never really got to establish themselves at the level of S1 characters. S3 had a nice setup, but the pacing turned into a crawl (did like the world building of the camp and society) and the characters seem very inconsistent (e.g. cute girl betraying you and.jesus leaving)

Basically we're 4 episodes in and nothing as really happened yet because the main story also shares screentime with Clem's flashback. It feels like we're one chapter behind the usual stuff, but instead of having two more, you just have one left.
