The game was obviously low budget, there were few environments and those few were pretty small as well. The graphics weren't top notch either. They still haven't even patched the PC version.

Most likely rare enhanced units that you just have to get lucky with, and Emil if you haven't done that yet. Check the desert in chapter C for enhanced desert goliaths and enhanced kamikaze flyers. Machines weren't planning on destroying the last human data on the moon at all. You could see this at the start of route C when the Tower arose when they released the soul towers for collection for the ark to another world. The invasion of the tower was pretty pointless.

Route C felt like you were doing something but the ending was already set in stone when ADAM was born in Route A.

There's many solutions to the white screen crash and none of them completely eliminate it. However, I also have an Nvidia card and what worked best for me was to not play in Fullscreen. With or without FAR does not matter the game is miles more stable in windowed. It's a difference of crashing every 30m-2h or crashing every 6 hours.

I ended up using FAR to make it borderless windowed that used the entire screen perfectly so it was no different from the fullscreen experience.
