I played the SHIT out of Destiny. Loved it all too. Bought a crazy powerful PC. Was super excited to hear Destiny 2 was PC. Couldn't fucking wait to get it.

By completely reworked, they all function like the storm caller, arc blade, or sunbreaker for warlock, hunter, and Titan respectively. Greatest example that we've seen and people played would be the Striker. Originally you just made a big slam for your super and that's it, now the radius is much smaller, but you follow the first slam by running around at a much faster speed, and can slam thrice more, or do shoulder charges that kill in two hits. If you remember arc blade in year one, when it was actually usable to some extent, imagine that for everything but with a much longer reach.

I'm kind of excited

What people need to realize first of all is that this was only the initial reveal. Second, Destiny is a service game that will be getting multiple large scale content updates and features added over the next several years.

By all measures it looks like Bungie has made good on a lot of the lessons that they learned from Destiny. What we are seeing with the Cabal and so on is only the first chapter. We will have tons of expansions of D2, both large and small. We know that the first two expansions deal with Osiris and Rasputin, respectively.

There are plenty of other plots I expect to see Bungie follow in the future including...

- Exploring The Nine
- The Ahankara
- The siblings of Oryx

As well as other completely new threats and developments that we haven't been introduced to get. More will come. Destiny is a journey, not a destination. I'm positive that Bungie will put forward a strong road map for Destiny 2 that will dwarf the original Destiny's.

What they completely fail to realize is that they actively pigeon-hole themselves by only being be able to enjoy games if it meets their specific performance criteria (aka 60fps) and it is blatant disadvantage to themselves. I stopped playing Destiny when the three man "dungeons" became repetitive grind-fests, and I realised just how long I was going to be on the gear-treadmill before seeing any new content.

I felt short-changed by Bungie over the lack of content and the multiplayer regularly devolving into 1-shot fests on a 2 minute cooldown. I don't think they respected my time as a player, and I don't think I got my money's worth.

That all said, I won't fault the core mechanics, the movement and shooting felt great. They were the only thing the game had going for it.
