Dev studios are basically under the thumb of the CEO, whom is normally under the thumb of investors. Studies have shown that Denuvo neither deters pirates for life, nor guarantees better sales. It's just a service that companies end up spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on for nothing.

The game is pretty fun. If it had the From Software logo, the professional reviewers metacritic score would be at least 82.

As someone who absolutely hated LotF to the point I didn't even feel like finishing it (despite it being just 10~ hours long), I'm really happy they got their shit together. I'm curious what they can do with a bigger budget next time.

I seriously think Dark Souls could learn a thing or two with this game (dodge up or down, limb targetting and contextual animations with R1 and R2 depending on the limb hit etc).
